Since 2011 Legacy Vision Group has been serving the eye care needs of Weber and Davis counties. We take pride in providing the best care in vision and eye health, and giving our patients the excellent service they deserve. Matthew Watson, O.D.

Dr. Watson attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM where he earned a bachelor of science degree. Later, Dr. Watson attended Utah State University in Logan, UT and earned a master of science degree. It was there that Dr. Watson met his wife, Kathryn. Dr. Watson earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. When not seeing patients Dr. Watson enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and is an avid outdoorsman.

Dr. Pebley attended Weber State University in Ogden, UT where he earned a bachelor of science degree. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree with distinction from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. Dr. Pebley enjoys spending time with his wife, Caroline, and their five children. He also enjoys running, mountain biking, and competing in triathlons.

Alexa Gutierrez, O.D.

Dr. Gutierrez was born and raised in Nebraska where she attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for her undergraduate studies. After earning a bachelor’s of science degree in Biology, she then traveled to Boston, MA for optometry school. In the spring of 2018, she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Gutierrez loves reading, traveling, and exploring Utah with her husband, Eric, and their two vizslas.
